A Pennsylvania based Titanium Aerostructures and Medical Component Supplier wanted to have a coating that is still cost effective to protect and lubricate titanium at a high temperature. We worked on developing a coating that cuts down on machining process, improves finished parts and drastically cuts down on labor time.
We then applied our coating, Oxylub-305, to titanium billets to protect them and provide a clean finish. This company was beyond pleased with finish that our coating provided. The titanium came out of the forging process very clean and minimized the machining process which therefor cut down on labor time drastically.
