FORGING
Advanced Technical Products’ coatings can endure the intense heat the forging process requires. Oxy-Shield Coatings are advanced, water-based, non-hazardous and cost effective metal and graphite protection systems. They are formulated to protect metals and alloys from oxidizing or contaminating atmospheres at high temperatures for extended times. The coatings prevent the diffusion of gases.
FOUNDRY & CASTING
Foundries can be involved in many types of metal materials. ALUMINUM

REFRACTORY

TITANIUM
ATP has formulated a variety of glass coatings that insulate, protect, and lubricate
Titanium alloys at a wide temperature range. ATP coatings control the formation of alpha case,
eliminate hydrogen penetration, and provide excellent lubrication during forging and extrusion
processes.
NON-FERROUS METALS
We work with non-ferrous such as, aluminum, copper, lead, nickel, tin, titanium and zinc, and alloys such as brass. This gives us the ability to provide services such as, High-Temperature Marking Paints & Stencils and Protective Coatings for controlling oxidation and decarburization to most companies in the Non-Ferrous Metals industry.
HEAT TREATING
ATP provides cost effective water-based masking/stop-off coatings for a diverse
range of Heat Treating processes including: gas-carburizing, gas-nitriding, carbo-nitriding, and
annealing.
